What is stored and for how long
- Necessary cookies clear automatically once your session ends or shortly after.
- Analytics cookies persist for a longer window so return visits can be recognised.
- Marketing cookies expire on a rolling basis and are refreshed only if you keep browsing.
- Preference cookies stay until you clear your browser or actively change the setting.
Embedded third parties
Some elements on this site are loaded from outside providers rather than built by us directly – an analytics script, an embedded video, a font library. Each of those can set its own cookie, under its own policy, the moment the element loads. We don't control what those providers store, only whether the element appears on the page at all, which is why declining non-essential categories below stops most of them from loading in the first place.
Declining without breaking the site
You can decline analytics and marketing cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit, or later by clearing site data in your browser settings. Declining does not stop the site working – the necessary category still runs, so pages load, forms submit and navigation behaves as expected. What you lose is nothing you'd notice: a slightly less tailored layout, and no measurement of how you found a page.
